Beyond The Prison Walls Synopsis

My destiny and purpose took me on a two thousand miles exodus. I was removed from the pulpit of a Midwest inner city store-front church and placed behind a metal portable podium of a prison visitation room in the desert Southwest. That was just the genesis of my re-assignment as it would also eventually include clothes, cars, and home among other things. I would be ministered to and directed to preach a Holy-Ghost inspired message of unequivocal total repentance to murders, arm-robbers, gang members, assassins, drug dealers, racists, drug users, and other criminals housed there. Read and feel, read and experience, read and pray, read and cry of the awesome encompassing and loving grace that transpires and ultimately saves the souls of many that are housed and work…beyond the prison walls!

Tamara Jones was devastated after the break-up with her twins’ father, Juan. Working at Fed-Ex through a temporary service was barely enough support for her and her twin daughters. Juan was not offering any support or help, so Tamara had to provide for her family as much as possible. With nowhere else to turn, she moves in with her cousin to regroup.

One Saturday evening, Tamara was sitting at the kitchen table eating dinner when she heard a knock at the door. To her surprise, there was a tall, beautiful brother by the name of Damon Butler standing there. She later found out that Damon was the nephew of the neighbors that lived two streets over.

Damon’s looks and suave personality immediately sweeps Tamara off her feet. He makes Tamara feel like there was still a man out there for her. Then one day, her whole life changed. Damon was not the man that she thought he was. Tamara had an addiction for Damon that she didn’t know how to control. Each time she left Damon, she ended up back in his arms. The lust, drugs, and lies would be a continuing saga.
